“In late 2012, I suffered both a shoulder injury and a groin strain within 2 weeks of each other whilst playing rugby. I continued to train at the gym with my own modifications whilst undertaking extensive physiotherapy. When the physio didn’t improve the pain in my groin I was referred to a number of surgeons.
I had an MRI and a cortisone injection in my hip but to no avail. Surgery was discussed as an option. Then I reached out to Colin who said he may be able to save me from surgery!
Colin put me on a programme to correct those issues through stretching and strengthening. Within weeks my shoulder pain, which I had endured for 6-8 months had improved considerably and shortly after was gone completely. More remarkably, my core strength improved dramatically so that I was able to start running again without pain in my groin.
